Hi, my name is Mark. I believe you have the right to go about your day without threat of verbal or physical abuse and not become a casualty of crime.

I have trained Wing Chun Kung Fu for 30 years and have been teaching this wonderful art since 1999. You don't need to be a martial artist to defend yourself. You just need to be open to the ideas I will share with you.
I worked in a customer facing Government department for 29 years where on occasion I had to successfully diffuse difficult situations arising with members of the public and sometimes their professional advisers. I was also a talented manager of people, guiding individuals and teams to reach their full potential.
Born in Stepney I spent my formative years living and working in East London. A brief spell in Ilford was followed by a deeper delve into Essex finally settling in Danbury during 1998. My upbringing and life experiences form the bedrock of my beliefs and I will ensure everything I share is based on reality.
I created Personal Safety Essex to share my ideas and philosophies with you and will only teach those that I would be prepared to impart to my wife and son.
